Hmm I like your first drawing of Spawn even more than the second. Mainly for the fluttering cape, as it makes the picture way more dynamic 
Btw in the beginning it is very important to use references for the folds, because it is quite difficult to just “think” them up and nevertheless make them look realistic. I have the feeling that you used fold s reference only on the first drawing…
I love the textures on your second Spawn though. Especially using less white and more grey on the costume made it look a lot better imo.
And like ZeroAP00 I would like to see your pictures with some background as well. I know it can be a lot of work, but you can also learn a lot from it.
